Minns Estates, were appointed by HSBC Specialist Investments (the land owner) in September 2009 to re-market approximately 13.01 acres of development land which was within an investment portfolio.
Minns orchestrated the extension of an existing planning consent for up to 200,000 sq ft of B1, B2 or B8 of development. The appointment included the preparation of a detailed marketing appraisal together with
the appointed agents VSL and Partners, and working with highway consultants and quantity surveyors in dealing with highway and access issues.
Within approximately one year, a land sale of the whole was achieved to a substantial single occupier who required the land to build its own campus.
